being unmarried or to give them any warning

about the inadequacy of their salaries.

therefore, it will still be desirable to recruit

unmarried candidates as far as possible and some

sort of warning may be inserted in the memorandum

about conditions of appointment, I do not think we should continue to include any such warning in

the offers of annt. It is only liable to be

misunderstood as in the case of r. Nicoll.

If it is preferred to include something

in the offer of anot. I think it should be made clearer that it is a warning in view of the inadequacy of the salary and not a prohibition, and should be inserted in the H.K. offers as well

as the Kalayan.
